### Match and Lemon-aid Puzzle

Match and Lemon-aid Puzzle

A man in a restaurant asked a waiter for a juice glass, a dinner plate, water, a match, and a lemon wedge. The man poured enough water onto the plate to cover it.
"If you can get the water on the plate into this glass without touching or moving this plate, I will give you \$100," the man said. "You can use the match and lemon to do this."
A few minutes later, the waiter walked away with \$100 in his pocket. How did the waiter get the water into the glass?
---

1. The lemon acts like a sponge which the waiter fills up by putting in water and squeezes the water out in the glass ?
Dont know what the match is for. for confusing the waiter ?

2. Since he can't risk touching the plate he might use the match to hold the lemon???

3. use lemon as base for match stick..and put the lemon on plate ...then lit the match stick and covered the lemon with burning match with glass.
When oxygen in glass finished ...it sucks the water in plate inside...

4. 1st of all we will have to burn a matchstick inside the glass, after all the air has been burnt we will quickly invert the glass upon the plate of water. As there is presently no air inside the glass, so due to vacuam pressure creation water on the plate will automatically rise inside the glass, then we will have to just invert the glass holding the plate on its top to get a glassfull of water. .but, I am not getting the use of lemon here. .

5. use the match and put holes on it...
squeze out the juice...
then using the lemon suck the water and put in the glass..

6. Make a lemon juice with out sugar in the plate and pour it to the glass!! Waiter pour's lemon juice but not water to the glass..

7. he told that man to fill the glass with water in plate because only he can't do that...but someone else can do thatt..
